PAPERWEIGHTS
With a quick introduction to the tools and techniques
of furnace work you'll be on your way to creating beautiful
one-of-a-kind paperweights. Students generally make
two to three paperweights per class, and no previous
experience with glass is necessary. Our paperweight
instructors work directly with each student on each
piece in this class, making it ideal for those with
little experience in 3D crafts.
Looking for a unique day out with the kids? Our
Paperweights Class provides an exciting and challenging
environment where the family can learn together. You'll
make several keepsakes in this fun and fascinating class.
Paperweight classes are now open to ages 10 and up.

INTENSIVES
Our
Intensives cover all the basic tools and techniques of glassblowing in a single afternoon. Great for those considering a six week class but unsure of all that's involved in working this molten material, our intensives pack a lot of information in a little time. As with the paperweight classes, beginners are welcome.
Our goal is for each student to complete one piece of blown glass "on their own." Intensives may be repeated. Class will break for 30 minutes around 3pm.
Topics covered include:
Safety and Equipment Overview
Turning the pipe and working at the bench
Marvering and jack lines
Punty's
Gathering
Bubble Blowing
Transferring
Opening a cup
Plus, take a second Intensive class and get a coupon for 3 free hours of blow time. That's an over $100 value!
Tuition (includes all tools and materials): $150
per student
